Dear Norman Lamb,
thank you for your reply to my letter dated 3rd May outlining 5G risks, and for informing me of the upcoming meeting on the UK’s telecommunications infrastructure. This email is being sent to the ten other members of the Science and Technology Committee and also to Jeremy Wright, Matt Hancock, Andrea Leadsom and my local MP, William Wragg. I will also be forwarding it to Chief Medical Officer, Prof. Dame Sally Davies. My forthright manner reflects the deep concerns I have for the safety of the British people.
I realise that there are changes taking place in the Government but regardless of this I must write due to the urgency of the matter. 5G satellites are already being launched and the terrestrial roll-out of 5G antennae is about to begin in earnest in the UK. Parliament cannot just carry on as if there are no risks involved with 5G RF radiation. There are serious risks, which all MPs have been alerted to in the 18 page letter I recently sent to them. I can only hope that the personal assistants or the MPs themselves chose not to throw the letter in the waste bin without reading it. On the very first page were written two very disturbing facts: 1. There has been no safety testing carried out on 5G radiation effects. 2. Over 200 scientists have warned the EU of the potential serious health effects of 5G and recommended a moratorium. These alone should raise concern in any worthy politician’s mind. The British people are at serious risk of harm. This is an absolute political priority.
In view of your involvement, as Chair of the Science and Technology Committee, with the future of the telecommunications infrastructure, I would request that you please read the following two articles before your meeting on the 10th June:
1. Published in the Magnetochemistry journal, 5th May 2019, ‘Conflicts of Interest and Misleading Statements in Official Reports about the Health Consequences of Radiofrequency Radiation and Some New Measurements of Exposure Levels’. 2. Published in The Lancet, December 2018, ‘Planetary electromagnetic pollution: it is time to assess its impact’. From the text: ‘A recent evaluation of 2266 studies (including in-vitro and in-vivo studies in human, animal, and plant experimental systems and population studies) found that most studies (n=1546, 68·2%) have demonstrated significant biological or health effects associated with exposure to anthropogenic electromagnetic fields. We have published our preliminary data on radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation, which shows that 89% (216 of 242) of experimental studies that investigated oxidative stress endpoints showed significant effects. The ICNIRP guidelines, which are perpetually referenced by the government in relation to radiofrequency radiation effects, and more recently, concerns about 5G effects, have been shamefully inadequate in protecting public health. Continuing to default to these seriously flawed guidelines not only jeopardizes parliamentary credibility but jeopardizes the wellbeing of the British population. From ‘The EMF Call’ scientists’ appeal (https://www.emfcall.org/) ‘In order to protect the public and the environment from the known harmful effects from electromagnetic fields (EMF) we ask the United Nations, the World Health Organization and all governments not to accept the ICNIRP guidelines. They are not protective, rather they pose a serious risk to human health and the environment since they allow harmful exposure to the world population, including the most vulnerable, under the unscientific pretext that they are “protective” ‘.

Bear in mind what the Senior Motorola Research Scientist, Robert C Kane PhD, wrote in his 2001 book, ‘Cellular Telephone Russian Roulette – a Historical and Scientific Perspective‘: ‘Never in human history has there been such a practice as we now encounterwith the marketing and distributing of products hostile to the human biological system by an industry with foreknowledge of those effects.’ i.e. the telecommunications industry. This is the opening paragraph of the declassified article, which was written around 42 years ago:
‘Morphological, functional and chemical studies conducted in humans and animals revealed that millimetre waves caused changes in the body manifested in structural alterations in the skin and internal organs. Qualitative and quantative changes of the blood and bone marrow composition and changes of the conditioned reflex activity, tissue respiration, activity of enzymes participating in the processes of tissue respiration and nucleic metabolism. The degree of unfavourable effect of millimetre waves depended on the duration of the radiation and individual characteristics of the organism.‘ (The duration with 5G millimetre waves will be unabated and cumulative).
Choosing not to acknowledge the evidence is not the same as there being no evidence. There is evidence of harm from millimetre wave radio frequencies … strong and consistent evidence. Dr Martin Pall, whose document on 5G risks I quoted from in my letter, is one of the world’s leading authorities on radiofrequency radiation effects. In 2013, realising there was a problem, he took it upon himself, with an impeccably prepared mind, to study and assess the existing body of research on EMF effects. What he found, through this extensive assessment, was that there is a very serious problem, a problem that is not being addressed and which will escalate if 5G is allowed to go ahead. Dr Pall has been doing everything in his power to alert world health authorities to the dangers but they are not paying heed.
The question begs, in an era defined by ‘health and safety’, how is it possible that 5G radiofrequency radiation, which billions of humans (along with all other lifeforms) are soon to be permanently and inescapably immersed in, is being deployed without a single safety test? Perhaps a more pertinent question than ”how is it possible” is ”why, and by whom, is it being made possible?”. ”Why?”… Safety testing will inevitably demonstrate harmful effects. ”By whom?”… The mobile phone industry isn’t slipping through the net in avoiding safety testing, it is bigger than the net. This gargantuan industry appears to operate outside the accepted range of influence. It is being allowed to call the shots in its own interests with obvious disregard for the health and safety of society.
I remember my father saying (with apologies to Kipling), ”If you can keep your head when all around are losing theirs, first make sure you haven’t misread the situation.” The gravity of this situation must not be misread… nor must it be disguised because of the scale of threat the acknowledgement of 5G negative health effects could pose to economic interests. The fundamental safety of the British people is paramount. In order to protect the population, it is imperative parliament calls for a moratorium and brings a body of scientists who are independent of industry/government economic interests into the picture to carry out comprehensive and uncorrupted safety testing on 5G radiation effects, including, very importantly, the cumulative effects. Parliament cannot, from any position, justify the deployment of 5G antennae without such crucial safety testing, especially with scientists and doctors warning the EU of ‘ potential serious health effects of 5G’… which the British Parliament has been made aware of.
To allow the 5G roll-out to continue in disregard of the warnings of potential serious health effects of 5G, and to endanger the British people by exposing them to untested 5G radiation in the knowledge of potential serious health effects surely, by definition, amounts to an unlawful act. I am asking you to take actions to protect the British people, not to harm them.
